Stardew Valley Golden Walnuts Checklist (All 130)

All 130 Golden Walnuts on Ginger Island in Stardew Valley, area by area, with a hint for every one.

First Golden Coconut cracked (Anywhere, 1): Bring a Golden Coconut (found all over the island) to Clint at the Blacksmith; the first one he cracks open holds a walnut.
Fishing on Ginger Island (Anywhere, 5): Every cast anywhere on the island has a 15% chance to reel in a walnut, until 5 have been caught.
Jungle path bush (Island East, 1): Shake the bush in the open centre of the jungle on the path towards Leo's hut (17,37).
Banana Shrine (Island East, 3): Place a Banana on the altar by the stairs up to Leo's hut; a gorilla appears and hands over 3 walnuts.
Tree inside Leo's hut (Island East, 1): Hit the tree inside Leo's hut with an axe.
Gem Bird Shrine bush (Island East, 1): Follow the hidden path east from the foot of Leo's stairs to the Gem Bird Shrine; a bush along the southern edge holds a walnut (23,34).
Gem Birds puzzle (Island East, 5): On rainy days a Gem Bird appears in one region (north, south, east or west) and drops a gem when approached. Place each gem on the pedestal for its region at the hidden shrine; all four correct gives 5 walnuts.
Upper cliff bush (Island South, 1): From the top of the stairs to Island North turn east, then slip south through a hidden route behind a tree to the bush on the cliff above the beach (31,5). The parrot hint counts it as Island North.
Starfish tide pool (Island Southeast, 1): After the Beach Resort is built, fish once in the star-shaped tide pool east of the docks; the first catch is a walnut.
Yellow starfish diamond (Island Southeast, 1): Dig in the centre of the diamond of yellow starfish north-east of the star pool (25,17).
Mermaid's song (Island Southeast, 5): On a rainy day a mermaid sits on the rock offshore. Place a Flute Block under each of the five stone piles on the shore, tune them by the stones (large = 5, small = 1: 2, 11, 9, 5, 7 clicks) and run past them left to right.
Pirate Cove darts (Pirate Cove, 3): Pirates visit the cove after 8pm on non-rainy even-numbered days; win a game of darts to earn a walnut, up to 3 times.
Buried among the barrels (Pirate Cove, 1): Dig the patch of exposed sand among the barrels east of the water, across from the dock (36,26).
Hidden north-east path bush (Island West, 1): East of the farm's Parrot Express station, follow the hidden path that jogs east and north through dense trees; the bush is at its far end (104,3).
Mahogany tree bush (Island West, 1): Behind a Mahogany Tree in the Tiger Slime Grove north of the pond (31,24).
Pond palm tree bush (Island West, 1): Behind the coconut palm by the pond west of the farm, near Birdie's hut (38,56).
Bush overlooking the farmhouse (Island West, 1): South of the farm's Parrot Express station, follow the cliff south and bend east to the trees above the farmhouse (75,29).
Bush past the river bridge (Island West, 1): From the farm's Parrot Express station go west over the bridge; on the raised area west of the river a bush is partly hidden by the southern wall (64,30).
Cliff-edge bush east of the grove (Island West, 1): Go east from the Tiger Slime Grove along the cliff edge towards the suspension bridge, clearing rocks and weeds; the bush is at the end, obscured by trees (54,18).
Bush below the walnut door (Island West, 1): Walk up the western coast towards Qi's Walnut Room; the bush is against the wall to the bottom-right of the door, near a cliff (25,30).
Bush north of the walnut door (Island West, 1): Continue north past Qi's Walnut Room through the shallow water along the coastline (15,3).
Indent diamond on the south-west beach (Island West, 1): Dig in the centre of the diamond of round indents in the dark sand near the ocean, bottom-left of the tide pools (21,81).
Blue starfish triangle (Island West, 1): Among the debris pile south of the farm, dig in the centre of the triangle of blue starfish (62,76).
Grass circle in the Tiger Slime Grove (Island West, 1): Dig in the centre of the circle of grass tufts in the Tiger Slime Grove, likely hidden behind a Mahogany Tree (39,24).
Pebble diamond near the Parrot Express (Island West, 1): Dig in the centre of the diamond of pebbles in the grass east of the farm's Parrot Express station (88,14).
Starfish diamond by the tide pools (Island West, 1): Dig in the centre of the diamond of blue and yellow starfish near the tide pools; a boulder covers it at first (43,74).
X in the sand (Island West, 1): Dig the X marked in the sand between the tide pools (30,75).
Shipwreck bush (Island West, 1): Enter the shipwreck on the beach south of the farm via the hidden path at its west corner; a walnut plant grows inside (2,4).
Green whack-a-mole (Island West, 1): On the beach south-east of Birdie's hut, cover three of the green Duggy's holes with placeable objects and hit it with an axe or pickaxe, or simply whack it with an upgraded Watering Can.
Colored Crystals (Simon Says) (Island West, 3): In the cave north-east of the Tiger Slime Grove, click the lion statue and repeat the crystal sequence for five rounds. Failing several times makes it slower.
Tiger Slime drop (Island West, 1): Kill the Tiger Slimes that spawn in the grove north of the pond; one of them drops a walnut.
Gourmand Frog: Melon (Island West, 5): After the farmhouse is repaired, grow a Melon on the island farm, leave it unharvested and show the frog in the cave in the farm's north-east corner.
Gourmand Frog: Wheat (Island West, 5): After the Melon, grow Wheat on the island farm and show the Gourmand Frog before harvesting it.
Gourmand Frog: Garlic (Island West, 5): After the Wheat, grow Garlic on the island farm and show the Gourmand Frog before harvesting it.
Island farm harvests (Island West, 5): Each non-regrowing crop harvested by hand (or with the Iridium Scythe) on the island farm has a 5% chance to give a walnut, until 5 have been found.
Mussel nodes (Island West, 5): Break the mussel-covered rocks on the beach south-east of the farm; each has a 10% chance to drop a walnut, until 5 have been found.
The Pirate's Wife quest (Island West, 5): Talk to Birdie in her hut on the west beach and complete "The Pirate's Wife" by passing items along a chain of villagers back in the valley and Leo. The reward includes 5 walnuts.
Journal Scrap #4 treasure (Island West, 1): After reading Journal Scrap #4, dig in the sand north of Birdie's hut between the bush clumps (18,42) for a Quality Bobber and a walnut.
Journal Scrap #6 treasure (Island West, 1): After reading Journal Scrap #6, dig the corner tile where the two cliffs meet by the curved palm in the south-east corner of the beach below the farm (104,74) for a Pearl and a walnut.
Hidden grove west of the stairs (Island North, 1): Atop the stairs from the docks, turn west into the hidden passage through the trees to reach a grove with a walnut bush (9,84).
Bush west of the Dig Site (Island North, 1): Up the north steps of the Dig Site and west across the bridge, in the grassy area (4,42).
Bush east of the Dig Site (1 of 2) (Island North, 1): Up the north steps of the Dig Site, through the hidden passage in the cliff to the east and over the bridge; the first of two plants in the grassy area above the Field Office (45,38).
Bush east of the Dig Site (2 of 2) (Island North, 1): The second walnut plant in the grassy area above the Field Office, beyond the eastern bridge (47,40).
Bush behind the tree by the Volcano (Island North, 1): South-east of the Volcano entrance, a walnut plant is hidden behind a coconut tree (56,27).
Secluded bush north-west of the Volcano (Island North, 1): At the far north-west of the map, west of the Volcano, follow the wall and slip north through a hidden passage to a secluded clearing (20,26).
Lava river exit bush (1 of 2) (Island North, 1): Inside the Volcano entrance, use the Watering Can to make a long path west along the lava river and south to the landing, then exit south to a riverside clearing with two bushes (13,33).
Lava river exit bush (2 of 2) (Island North, 1): The second bush in the riverside clearing reached by following the lava river out of the Volcano (5,30).
Stone circle west of the stairs (Island North, 1): Atop the stairs from the docks turn west and dig in the centre of the circle of small stones beneath the curved tree (26,81).
Flower circle north-east of the stairs (Island North, 1): North-east of the stairs from the docks, in the dark grassy area, dig in the centre of the circle of flowers between tufts of long grass (42,77).
Stone circle in the south-east corner (Island North, 1): From the flower circle head east to the next grassy area; dig in the centre of the circle of small stones on the sand patch (57,79).
Raised sand south-east of the Field Office (Island North, 1): On the path between the docks and the Field Office, look for a patch of sand with an unusual raised texture in the north-east corner and dig there (62,54).
Stone circle above the Dig Site (Island North, 1): Up the north steps of the Dig Site, dig in the centre of the circle of small stones (19,39).
Volcano's eastern nook (Island North, 1): East of the Volcano entrance, dig in the sand circled by two bushes and an arc of stones (54,21).
Stone circle in the far north-west (Island North, 1): Dig in the centre of the circle of stones at the extreme north-west of the map, where Leo sometimes stands (19,13).
Walnut up in the Volcano-side tree (Island North, 1): North-east of the Volcano entrance a curved tree juts out of the Volcano's side with a walnut in it; knock it down with a Slingshot (Journal Scrap #3 hints at this).
Journal Scrap #10 treasure (Island North, 1): After reading Journal Scrap #10, dig the tile visible inside the loop of the curved palm growing from the cliff south-west of the Volcano entrance (27,28) for an Ostrich Egg and a walnut.
Large Animal skeleton (Field Office, 6): Free Professor Snail by bombing the boulder east of the Dig Site stairs, then donate all six fossils: 2 Fossilized Legs (Dig Site bone nodes), Fossilized Ribs (bone nodes or Island South artifact spots), Skull (Golden Coconuts), Spine (fishing the Dig Site river) and Tail (panning the Dig Site river). Also rewards a Banana Sapling.
Snake skeleton (Field Office, 3): Donate a Snake Skull (artifact spots or fishing in Island West, or Dig Site artifact spots) and 2 Snake Vertebrae (Island West artifact spots 22.5%, mussel nodes 2.5%, other Island West rocks 1%). Also rewards a Mango Sapling.
Mummified Frog (Field Office, 1): Cut weeds in the Island East jungle until a Mummified Frog turns up, then donate it.
Mummified Bat (Field Office, 1): Rare (1 in 200) drop from breaking ordinary rocks in the Volcano Dungeon; donate it.
Purple Flowers survey (Field Office, 1): Answer the island survey on the office wall: there are 22 purple flowers. One guess per day.
Purple Starfish survey (Field Office, 1): Answer the island survey on the office wall: there are 18 purple starfish. One guess per day.
Forge entrance bush (Volcano, 1): Reach the Forge at the top of the Volcano Dungeon; a walnut plant stands at its entrance along the caldera's southern edge (28,36).
Forge exit bush (Volcano, 1): A second walnut plant at the Forge's exit on the caldera's southern edge (9,34).
Volcano rocks (Volcano, 5): Breaking rocks in the Volcano Dungeon has a chance to drop a walnut, until 5 have been found.
Volcano monsters (Volcano, 5): Monsters defeated in the Volcano Dungeon have a chance to drop a walnut, until 5 have been found.
